FAQ

Either the brand provides the tablets (usually around 120€ when bought in Germany, which is cheaper than in Asia, but you have to consider that you can only export a limited amount of tablets per person)  or the tablets can be bought by the factory itself. There is a minimum standard required, screen size it should be a minimum of 10”, and it has to have a camera.

  • Mobile hotspots or routers (dependent on country circumstances) might increase speed
  • SIM cards for the tablets from a local operator can serve as backup in case of slow internet connection via WIFI (the App consumes around 25 MB data  per 15 minutes session in an average) ; please note, if that is the case, then connection on the tablet has to be changed from WIFI to MOBILE manually.

Please make sure that the tablet is not too old, as a certain browser standard is a pre-requisite for functioning of face recognition. The following browsers are supported:

  • Chrome – V37.0 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox – 57 and above
  • Safari – 12 and above
  • Baidu

PLEASE NOTE: Make sure that Google translate is deactivated on the tablet. Otherwise, it might interfere with the text.

If you don’t know, which Browser version is on your tablet, perform the following steps:

  1. Open your browser
  2. Click on the Menu icon (usually 3 vertically aligned dots) in the upper right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on ‚Help‘ in the menu bar
  4. In the drop-down menu, click on ‚About’
  5. You can see the version of your browser there

If 140 users need to be trained in a 6 working day week with 8 hour shifts per day, then 1 tablet is sufficient. However, we recommend having additional tablets for more than 140 users, depending on how many users are trained parallely.

Minimum technical specification required for the tablet (normally any new tablet is fulfilling those):

  • OS: Android 7.0
  • Screen: 10″ screen, 1024×768 pixels OR 1280 x 800 pixels
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 16 GB ROM
  • Speaker system incl. connection for headsets
  • Charging system (standard charger that is provided with tablet)
  • 2 MP front-facing camera

Tablets are at lower costs in Germany (around 120 €), however custom regulations regarding import to Asia have to be considered in individual cases.

  • The certificates for the users can either be printed out by the factory or a local representative of the brand, they can be downloaded directly with the names inserted automatically from the KPI-Dashboard.
  • If another design is prefered, it is possible, however, it requires more time investment than using the preset certificates.
  • The factory should discuss with the brand if they want an official handing over of the certificates to the users. This happens after everybody has finished the course, so after 2 months and is recommended as it motivates the users and shows the value of the training directly after completion of training.
  • There are two types of user certificates: successfully completed for users scoring above 70%, and completed for users scoring below 70% (with an attendance of at least 6 out of 8 sessions).
  • The certificate with the SustiScore for the factory can also be printed out directly from the system.
