Human Rights & Reporting Grievances
This module provides essential knowledge about human rights, potential workplace violations, and different forms of participation.
A key goal is to foster understanding of when and how to raise concerns effectively – forming the foundation for functional grievance mechanisms and whistleblower systems, as required by national and international legislation.

It raises awareness of how human rights can be compromised in a work context and explores practical ways to prevent or address such situations. In addition to anti-discrimination, it also covers employees’ general rights and responsibilities.
Even when formal channels exist, they are often misunderstood or underutilized. Participants learn to recognize which issues require action, and how to navigate available options for conflict resolution or formal complaints.
By strengthening awareness and providing guidance, this training helps improve the overall effectiveness of grievance mechanisms, reduce staff turnover, and surface problems early – enabling fair and constructive outcomes for all stakeholders.
